Worth a look before you buy another AC
A heat pump is an air conditioner that also runs in reverse, so the same quiet unit outside cools your house all summer and heats it most of the winter. Modern cold-climate models hold their output well below freezing, which covers the bulk of a Wasatch Front heating season.
No ducts, or a room the ducts never reach? A ductless mini split gives that space its own quiet heating and cooling with individual temperature control. We are Mitsubishi certified for ductless work, and for whole-home systems a dual-fuel setup pairs the heat pump with your furnace as backup. Utility rebates frequently apply to qualifying systems, and we point you at what your install qualifies for as part of the quote.

Do heat pumps actually work in Utah winters?
Yes. Cold-climate models are rated to keep heating well below zero, and for the coldest stretches a dual-fuel setup lets your furnace take over automatically. You never sit cold waiting for the weather to cooperate.
Is a heat pump more expensive than an AC?
The equipment costs more up front, but it replaces both a cooling and a heating appliance, and rebates often narrow the gap. We quote it next to a standard AC so you can compare real numbers.
Can I keep my existing furnace?
Usually, yes. That is the dual-fuel setup: the heat pump handles most days, the furnace takes the brutal ones. It is often the most practical path in our climate.
