Why is my furnace blowing cold air?
Often a failed igniter or flame sensor, a thermostat issue, or a safety switch doing its job because something else is wrong. It is one of the most common calls we run and usually a same-visit fix.
Is it safe to keep running a furnace that is acting up?
Short cycling or odd noises are usually a comfort problem, not a danger. Anything involving gas smell or a CO alarm is different. Shut it down, get out, and get the gas company involved before anyone works on it.
Do you do furnace tune-ups?
Yes. A fall tune-up catches weak igniters and dirty burners before they strand you in January, and it keeps the system running at the efficiency you paid for.
