About Citizen HVAC
A family shop, built on kept promises.
No franchise fees, no call center, no commissioned techs. Just a family out of Salt Lake City doing heating and air the way it should be done.
Why the name Citizen.
A citizen is a neighbor with a stake in the place. That is how Tristyn Dixon runs this company. He started Citizen HVAC in 2025 for simple reasons: love for the work, care for the customer, and a drive to serve his own community while supporting the other small businesses in it.
Because the shop is family-run and owner-operated, the person you talk to is the person accountable for the work. No dispatcher three states away, no commissioned upsell, and the phone answers around the clock. As Tristyn puts it:

That standard shapes the boring parts of the job most people never see: the load calculation instead of a guess, the sealed vent connection behind the drywall, the mechanical room swept before we load the truck. We are licensed and insured in utah, and we pull the permits a job calls for instead of hoping nobody asks. If something we did is not right, you call us and we come back. That accountability is the whole reason to hire a company whose name is on the work.
