A finished basement is only as good as the air that reaches it. We run the supplies, returns, and trunk work so every new room is livable in January and July.

Once the drywall is up, the ductwork behind it is permanent. We plan airflow room by room, run the trunk and branches to fit the framing, and set supplies and returns where the rooms actually need them, not where it was easiest to cut.

Can my existing furnace handle the finished basement?
Usually, because basements need less conditioning than upstairs rooms, but we verify instead of assuming. If the system is undersized we tell you before the drywall goes up, when there are still good options.
When should the duct work happen in the project?
After framing and rough electrical, before insulation and drywall. Bring us in at the planning stage and we will coordinate directly with your framing and drywall dates.
Do basement bedrooms really need cold air returns?
For a room that is comfortable with the door closed, yes. A supply with no return path pressurizes the room and the airflow dies. It is a small piece of duct during the rough-in and a miserable retrofit after.
